The Festival Foods Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:45 p.m. July 4 over the Fox River in downtown Green Bay.

GREEN BAY - This is the first year On Broadway Inc. has taken over Fire Over the Fox, but visitors won't notice any changes.

The city's annual Fourth of July celebration will repeat the successful footprint that has been established by previous organizers, said Chelsea Kocken, marketing and events manager for On Broadway.

The free downtown event will feature dozens of food vendors, six entertainment stages, a salute to veterans and, of course, the Festival Foods Fireworks display over the Fox River at dusk.

Here's a quick rundown of what you need to know if you're planning to join the party.
