Documentary on Wisconsin mine proposal shown locally

The documentary, "Wisconsin's Mining Standoff," will be shown at 7 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Brown County Central Library, 515 Pine St.

Hosted by the Green Bay Film Society, the 25-minute film is about the proposal to dig an open-pit mine in Northern Wisconsin. The screening will be followed by a discussion.

The event is free and open to the public.
