Bob Uecker explains why he was a terrible MLB scout

In a clip from the new MLB Network special Mr. Baseball, Bob Uecker, the legendary Brewers broadcaster looks back on his brief tenure as a professional scout and explains how some wayward gravy helped bring his scouting career to a merciful end.

Uecker went on to become a regular guest on the Tonight Show, a national broadcaster on NBC, and a popular actor, writer and ambassador for the game. The hour-long look at his career debuts Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET.
