Cheddar Melt returns at McDonald's

McDonald's has brought back the Cheddar Melt that first graced its menu from the late 1980s into the 90s and resurfaced again 10 years ago.

The Cheddar Melt is a beef patty on an artisan rye roll with sautéed onions, teriyaki glaze and cheese sauce. Just to clear up any confusion for those who remember the Grilled Onion Cheddar Burger, that burger consisted of a beef patty topped with grilled caramelized onions and cheddar cheese on the restaurant's standard hamburger bun.
