A former Green Bay grade school teacher charged with sexually assaulting two students pleaded not guilty to three charges on Monday.

Jer Lovaj.

Jer Lovaj, 58 of Oconto, pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree child sexual assault in one case. He also pleaded not guilty to a charge of repeated sexual assault of a child in another case.

He is due back in court on Aug. 18.

Prosecutors contend Lovaj inappropriately touched two students at Anne Sullivan School on Green Bay's east side, where he taught English as a second language between October 2013 and February 2014, according to court documents.

Lovaj was charged in the first case in March. Charges were filed in the second case in late May after another child told her mother and investigators she had been touched multiple times, according to court documents.
